Established since 1880 in Nablus, Palestine, the Al-Shakaa factory has been making the Al-Jamal Soap for more than 140 years. Al-Jamal Soap is a Nabulsi soap produced exclusively in the factory located in Nablus, West Bank, Palestine. Palestine is known as the birthplace of olive oil and is home to some of the world's oldest olive trees, some dating back 5,000 years. Using this virgin olive oil, sourced locally from Palestine, the soap is handmade without any added scents or perfumes.

The process of making the Al-Jamal Soap begins with the collection of virgin olive oil from local sources in Palestine. The oil is then cooked and poured onto the factory floor, where it hardens. Once the soap has hardened, it is stamped, cut into its unique square shape, and then stacked to start the drying process, which can take 2-3 weeks.

Once the soap is fully dry, it is then hand-packaged, ready to be enjoyed for its natural skin benefits. The soap is made with 100% pure virgin olive oil from the Holy Land, providing a mineral-rich formula that gently cleanses and nourishes the skin.
